Triton 40ft Open Top Containers have a removable, durable tarpaulin cover secured with bows. These features enable our units to hold bulky freight or oversized, irregularly shaped objects which Standard Dry Containers cannot.
With corrugated steel panels that provide structural strength, 1 1⁄8" thick marine solid wooden floors, and center dividers to help protect freight, Open Top Containers also have lashing rings and bars fitted internally to help keep cargo stable and safe. In addition, their sizeable swingable door headers provide an additional access point to allow standard-size goods to be loaded and unloaded as required.
Open Top Containers provide flexible storage and transport capabilities to a range of industries, including mining, shipping, logistics, project shipments, and energy. In addition, their size and versatility make them suitable for moving large items such as steel parts and timber from and to construction sites.
We offer long-term and short-term lease options at Triton through over 400 third-party-owned depots. Our agreements are tailored to meet our customers’ unique operating and financial requirements.
NOTE: The dimensions and door openings of all containers correspond to ISO standards. However, due to production tolerances, a difference in measurement is possible.
