A Triton Duocon is formed by welding together two individual Triton 10ft Containers to create a single unit measuring 20ft in length. Compared to transporting two single 10ft units, this process provides significant transportation savings through optimized space utilization, reduced administrative tasks, and minimized handling requirements.
After reaching its destination, the Duocon can be easily separated back into two individual 10ft containers; this procedure involves cutting the 20ft unit in half and welding an end panel onto each resultant half. This unit's adaptability allows you to control your storage and transportation needs, empowering you to customize the unit's internal capacity to accommodate particular stock or equipment.
Beyond its primary functions, these versatile units are also suited for conversion projects, including office container setups and other customized configurations.
The internal storage capacity of a Triton 20ft Duocon Container is 1165 ft3, enabling it to accommodate up to 11 euro pallets or 10 metric pallets per layer. Its modular design facilitates stacking which helps to optimize space utilization in warehouses, ports, and shipping yards. Duocons are suitable for transporting and storing a diverse range of goods, making them useful across various industries and applications.
Our units are engineered to endure even the most extreme conditions, providing security and durability for your cargo. Equipped with features such as internal lashing loops, forklift pockets, waist-high door locking handles, secure lockboxes, and superior paint systems, the Duocon provides cost-effective functionality and protection. At Triton, we are committed to upholding the highest quality standards through rigorous production testing and inspection benchmarks to ensure our customers receive only the finest products available.
NOTE: The dimensions and door openings of all containers correspond to ISO standards. However, due to production tolerances, a difference in measurement is possible.
